1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using findmysia.com (the "Website" or "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue using our services immediately.

2. Platform Description & Intermediary Role

FindMySIA acts strictly as an intermediary online marketplace that enables individual learners ("Learners") to search, compare, and book SIA certified training courses operated by independent education entities ("Training Providers"). We are not a training school ourselves and are not responsible for the direct delivery of classes, center safety, or student licensing exam results.

3. User Accounts

To book courses or list training programs, you must create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and accept full responsibility for all activities occurring under your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that provide falsified registration details.

4. Payments & Commissions

All course booking payments are processed securely in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) via credit/debit card (Stripe) at the time of booking. FindMySIA deducts a platform commission from the course fees before disbursing the payout directly to the Training Providers in accordance with their provider agreements.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations and refund requests are governed by specific guidelines:

  • Cooling-off Period For Students: Students are eligible for a full refund if they cancel their course booking at least 12 hours before the course start time. Cancellation requests made within 12 hours of the course commencement may not be eligible for a refund.
  • Provider Policy: All invoices and payments for course providers will be processed and cleared at the end of each month. Providers will receive payment settlements based on completed bookings and confirmed transactions during the billing cycle.

6. User Conduct

Users must not submit fraudulent trainer certifications, copy platform code/assets, scrape course listings, or engage in abusive communication. All users must comply with the rules and photo identification procedures required by the SIA and individual training centers.

7. Limitation of Liability

FindMySIA, its employees, and directors shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses resulting from course cancellations, trainer misconduct, center relocations, or a student's failure to pass their SIA examinations or secure an official SIA license from the regulatory board.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
